Dr. Jay Alexander Hafner is a licensed chiropractor serving the Lakewood, Colorado community. He has been freeing people from pain and other health concerns in Colorado since 1999. As a chiropractor with additional licensure and certifications in acupuncture, extremity practice (chiropractic for the limbs), nationally certified to perform transportation physicals, and spinal trauma (car crash injuries), Dr. Hafner is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of patients through objective chiropractic care. He also provides mentorship to chiropractic students.  

Dr. Hafner had his first adjustment when he was 14 after a fall injury to the spine left him disabled and bedridden. The chiropractor got him up and walking again (and fixed his chronic juvenile migraines as well). This inspired him to pursue his mission in the chiropractic field.

Dr. Hafner obtained his Bachelor of Science, pre-chiropractic studies, and Emergency Medical Technician certificate at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota, and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree at Northwestern College of Chiropractic (now Northwestern Health Sciences University) in 1999 in Bloomington, Minnesota. He is married to his wife, Heidi, and they have three children. Dr. Hafner is an avid outdoor activity enthusiast, loves spending time with his family, and is a bee keeper and guinea pig wrangler in his spare time.
